It's an interesting weekend for Republican presidential candidates. Mike Huckabee, and many others, will be at the Conservative Political Action Conference, beginning today in Washington, and then Huckabee, after his Friday appearance, continues working the right wing of his party with a closed-to-press appearance Saturday in Colorado before the Family Policy Council (the Dobson group).
The CPAC meeting will feature a straw poll. Mitt Romney is apparently spreading around a lot of cash to build up a vote. Most of the candidates, though not Huckabee, are also planning to be in South Carolina for another straw poll event, the NY Times article linked earlier says.
