I should have mentioned earlier the news release received from Ouachita Baptist University about ceremonies attending the inauguration of Dr. Rex Horne as OBU’s 15th president. The inauguration itself is March 29, but events  begin on March 25. On March 26, a former member of Horne’s flock at Immanuel Baptist Church, will deliver a lecture at the college. That would be a fellow named Bill Clinton.

The news release didn’t mention a role for another presidential candidate from Arkansas, OBU grad Mike Huckabee, who has a part-time role as director of a center for education and public policy at his alma mater but whose campaigning has kept him from much activity at OBU for the time being..
