All the glorious talk of tax cuts, highway programs, legal porkfests, tax credits for farmers, tax credits for manufacturers, increased turnback for cities and counties -- is there really something for everyone?
Notice what's missing?
Education. Is the legislature really serious about meeting its needs first and then considering the rest? Might the governor want to favor the people with a school budget sometime soon? And when he does, will there be anything left?
Again the question: Will school teachers get raises equivalent to that already given legislators?
