We've covered this issue quite a bit, but Arkansas Business has an article
by Mark Friedman well worth reading today by residents and fans of the Hillcrest neighborhood. It's about the effort to create an "overlay" district that will restrict the size of new house that can be built when the neighborhood's smaller houses are torn down (there's no "if" about teardowns any more.) And it's about at least one developer who's unhappy about the restriction. Shown in their cover photo is John Selva, a realtor who's leading the overlay effort and who's salvaging a landmark derelict at Kavanaugh and Midland.
