I know it's been hard to follow the posting today. It's been frequent and interrelated. (I told somebody that it gave me an appreciation for the organization and flow of that old-fashioned thing called a newspaper, with its orders or priority, differing headline styles, etc.) Anyway, reference numerous earlier posts on LR School Board and education and merit pay: The LR School Board agenda meeting came and went tonight without incident. The Walton School of Education Reform study of Walton-backed merit pay experiments in the LR schools will get its first public airing before a Walton-controlled legislative committe next week, unless somebody happens to agree that a publicly financed study is open to public inspection under the FOI before then. No discussion of the specifics tonight, except of the parameters of the study.
