UPDATE: An arrest was made today in Los Angeles in the killing of a bank teller in Little Rock Dec. 23. Prosecutor Larry Jegley said police stopped the suspect while driving and found a warrant was outstanding for his arrest for capital murder.

Earlier, the LRPD announced that it had identified a suspect in the fatal shooting of Metropolitan Bank branch teller James Garison in a robbery Dec. 23. He is Grover Evans Jr., 18, last known address 9124 Susie Lane. He had no previous criminal record but is named now in a capital murder warrant, police said.

Authorities said he was identified as a suspect by his mother from a photograph of the robber taken by bank surveillance cameras.
