We couldn't help but notice this quote in Stephens Media's report on Marvin Childers becoming the new chief poultry lobbyist. It refers to Morril Harriman, the former Poultry Federation lobbyist who is now Gov. Mike Beebe's chief of staff.
Having Harriman as a contact will help, he said.
"I've known him for several years, dating back to even his days in the Senate," Childers said. "I look forward to working with him and the governor's staff on any issue that affects not only poultry but that they have as an issue," he said.
Somebody needs to tell Childers that Beebe has said Harriman will not work on poultry issues for the governor's office. Right?
