Tonight's edition of "Unconventional Wisdom" features a discussion of the upcoming legislative session with state Sens. Dave Bisbee (R-Rogers), Steve Bryles (D-Blytheville) and Randy Laverty (D-Jasper).
They talk about the dynamics of the Brotherhood and whether it will affect how the Senate functions. (Laverty is a member of the Brotherhood, Bisbee and Bryles are not. The Brotherhood opposed Bisbee's bid for Senate president pro-tem.)
They also react to the recent Arkansas Supreme Court rulings on education and use of the General Improvement Fund, and their responses offer good indications on how they will move ahead on those issues. The route to tax reform -- whether/how to cut the grocery tax and/or income tax rates -- also comes up.
"Unconventional Wisdom" airs tonight at 6:30 p.m. on AETN.
