Pearl Harbor Day will be noted at the Clinton School of Public Service today with a program at 10:30 a.m. this morning featuring a conversation with the oldest living Arkansas — Ruth Lincoln, 109. In her passage through three centuries, she’s lived in Paragould, Batesville, Little Rock and Van Buren. Now in Little Rock, the grandmother of Sen. Blanche Lincoln’s husband Steve, she still plays bridge four times a week.
Speaking of Pearl Harbor, the Arkanas Inland Maritime Museum in North Little Rock will open a new exhibit on the attack this weekend. Go to the museum blog for details on the exhibit as well as the latest news on the shipment of the tug Hoga that was at Pearl Harbor in 1941 to a final berth in North LIttle Rock.
