Lou Schickel's new shopping center is open, with a Parisian department store as the anchor. It's a welcome competitor to existing retailers and centers. We haven't been yet. Have you?
We ask because of this note from a Blog reader:
Why did the city block the main entrance just when the new center opened for shopping? There has been at least one accident already-- Saturday afternoon about 4 pm when a driver tried to turn left into the entrance and saw all the orange barrels. She got rear-ended trying to figure out what to do!
Everyone is cutting through the gas station and the liquor store/cleaners driveway, which is dangerous. If there was a problem in the design, should this have
been caught much earlier?
