A notice from the Fayetteville School District’s news office today:

 A rumor about a supposed planned shooting circulated widely through FHS and the community earlier today via text messaging, cell phones, and email. A student has admitted to starting the hoax. Students were never in any danger, though many students were checked out of school by their parents.
