U.S. Rep. Marion Berry today announced that he received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association for his re-election campaign.
The news here is that the NRA rarely endorses Democrats. This is Berry's first NRA endorsement, and it comes as he is running for his sixth term in Congress.
(I think U.S. Rep. Mike Ross is the only other Arkansas Democrat to have the NRA's endorsement.)
