Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller is back home in Little Rock. A release from his office:
Lt. Governor Win Rockefeller returned to Little Rock from Seattle this morning after his second bone marrow transplant to treat a blood condition did not achieve the desired results. He will coordinate his further treatments through UAMS.
Rockefeller underwent two bone marrow transplants through the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, a consortium of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
The Rockefellers appreciate the continued support and prayers of their many friends in Arkansas. Well-wishers are asked to direct correspondence to the Office of the Lt. Governor; State Capitol, Suite 270; Little Rock, AR 72201. The office's phone number is (501) 682-2144.
We sent several questions to Rockefeller aide Steve Brawner by e-mail and got these responses:
