NY Times indicates Sen. Bill Frist is going for broke on total repeal of the estate tax, which is a good thing because that idea doesn't seem likely to pass. Various "compromises," most of them devastating to the budget and a windfall to billionaires, have more support. The article says swing Sens. Pryor and Lincoln are much in demand.
UPDATE: We've posted Ernest Dumas' important column on the subject early this week. Feel free to send it along to the senators. Not that the compelling facts there are likely to do much good with Sen. Lincoln, who sold out to the billionaires on this issue long ago.
