Our tech team spent a great deal of time yesterday tussling with the lack of live links on comments by long-time posters. Some tweaks have been done that has restored live linking for most, if not all.

I have detected an anomaly that still seems likely to produce some further glitches.

I have a theory that what the software is seeing as “pulled” comments are actually occasions when posters have gone back in and edited a comment in the five minutes after initial posting. For example, I was unable yesterday to post live links because records showed one of my comments had been pulled. It had not. It was still live on the site. And I knew I hadn’t pulled it.
