The reader who passed this along commented accurately that the story about Tennessee Republican Congressman Scott DesJarlais sets a new standard for hypocrisy.

He was recently re-elected easily in Tennessee, though some of this sordid tale was already leaking into public print. A helpful court, citing lack of a completed transcript, delayed until after the election release of court testimony that lays out in full his background.

* Avowed supporter of "pro-life" (anti-abortion) policies? Check.

* Family values candidate? Check.

* Divorced? Check.

* Former wife had two abortions BEFORE they were married? Check.

* Had sex with two former patients (he's a physician)? Check.

* Had sex with three co-workers? Check.

* Had sex with a drug company rep? Check.

* Urged one of the patient sex partners to get an abortion? Check.

* Lied about conversations with patient in which he urged her to get abortion? Check.

* Wrote painkiller prescriptions for one of mistress/patients and provided various gifts including a plane ticket to Las Vegas? Check.

* Said in questioning, "I've never been challenged or questioned in terms of my integrity before."? Check.

Concerning the anti/pro abortion doctor.

A couple ideas come to mind.

1) How crappy was his Dem challenger that this guy "cruised" to an easy win?

2) How idiotic are the voters? (Oh wait they did have R-Senator Bill "I diagnosed Terry Schivo via video tape" Frist so I guess TN people will vote in any mad doctor!)

3) How crappy are the TN journalists that the story started to come out at least back in early October and then nobody could divulge more before the election? (No reporter looked up disgruntled former employee that would point toward closet skeletons, nope lets just wait for the Republican judge to release ruling.) I don't see Max and crew doing that!

4) Where was Dem party and the vetting? We trust the opposition to wade through falsee claims yet verify truth.

Just thoughts that came from reading the article.

In Ark, he would have to appear before Medical Board and possibly lose his license for sex with patients.
Scumbag.

Sen. Jeremy Hutchinson, are you listening? I'd like to say "check," but I don't know that for sure. Stay tuned for more details from Julie McGee!

In Arkansas, we'd be thinking Senator.

I'll give Arkansas voters some credit for not re-electing the three office holders who were running on the Confederate States of America ticket.

How on earth does such an ugly old mofo sex so many women? This man is gross. And since my shelf-life is expiring and mag and I have a Don't Ask-Don't Do It policy, I need to know how Tennessee Toe-head does it because I've been hording 1 last blue Viagra and I'd really really like to make it count.

Do I need to slip Dr. in front of my name? Or get elected to public office? Or maybe this ugly man followed the Bush advice that apologizing later is easier than asking permission...Could you be a dear and pick up that pen I dropped.....BANG!

How about it, ladies....what would cause you to want to have sex with a man who looked like this goober? Money? Oh, forgot about money.....is it the money? I guess if you're one of the millions without health insurance you might want to boink this guy just to get your pap smeared for free?

I just don't get it.....I live in the poorest part of town, I stand in the alley unzipped with a plate of cookie many nights and get nowhere. I have hair! I have one blue pill left! What's not to sex????

DBI, hold up a sign that says "I am a Republican" and that should do it.

DBI, you slay me. Maybe you missed your calling. Perhaps you should have done stand-up.
