Variety Magazine named Little Rock’s Graham Gordy as one of “10 TV Writers to Watch in 2016,” in anticipation of Gordy’s work on a new eight-episode drama, “Quarry.” After nearly 4 years in the hopper, Cinemax is set to premiere “Quarry” on September 9, the brainchild of Michael D. Fuller and Little Rock’s Graham Gordy, who worked together on the first season of SundanceTV’s Peabody Award-winning “Rectify.”  As Fuller told Variety Magazine, the series will tell the story of a Vietnam vet “returning from war and dealing with the effects of that trauma at a time when there wasn’t an acronym for it.” The series will star
Logan Marshall-Green, and is based on Max Allan Collins’ (“Road to Perdition”) 1976 crime novels. Collins said on his blog earlier this week:

Obviously this has been a long time coming, but I think the wait will have been worth it.
