The Historic Arkansas Museum will host a book signing and panel discussion tonight for “Architects of Little Rock 1833-1950,” written by noted architects Charles Witsell and Gordon Wittenberg.

There will be a presentation and book lecture at 5:30 p.m. and book-signing and reception at 6:15 p.m. HAM Director Bill Worthen, architects Tom Adams and John Greer, and Central Arkansas Library Director Bobby Roberts will speak and Wesley Walls, president of AIA Arkansas, will make the presentation.

The book profiles 35 architects and their firms, including George R. Mann (State Capitol), Max Mayer (Arkansas Territorial Restoration and residences), Charles L. Thompson (City Hall), Thomas Harding Sr. (Exchange Building), the Wittenberg and Delony firm (Robinson Auditorium) and others.
