For obvious reasons, I love the poster you see above. It’s part of the “Say It with Snap! Motivating Workers with Design” exhibition opening Jan. 28 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock of posters created in the 1920s to inspire employees to increase productivity. A press release from UALR says the show will illustrate a how the Mather & Co. posters altered its target audience over time, from white-collar workers to factory workers (and, now, to blog writers who should be Saying It With Snap!)
The ExhibitsUSA touring show was put together by curators at the University of Florida and the Hagley Museum and Library in Wilmington, Del., and will run through March 16.
