When you flip the calendar over to August, it’s time to tie on your best bib for Little Rock Restaurant Month. The deals ought to lure you into the heat just long enough to get to lunch.

Each week brings discounts in different neighborhoods in Little Rock. This week, through Sunday, Aug. 7, the deals are downtown, like half-off desserts at 109 & Co. at 109 Main St.; a prix-fixe three-course lunch at Cache for $12; a $5 discount on 18-inch pizzas and half-off appetizers at Damgoode Pies; half-off all food orders at Dugan’s Pub (check in on Facebook to redeem the offer); a $10 bacon and egg sandwich with a bottle of PBR at Midtown; 10 percent off a cheeseburger combo at Mason’s Deli; and many other deals.

Next week, find good buys at Midtown, Heights and Hillcrest eateries: $12 Harissa and honey wings at Boulevard Bread Co., a free cheese dip with a burger or salad at Big Orange, a $5 burger at Arkansas Burger Co., $1 off a sandwich order at Hillcrest Artisan Meats, and so forth.
