The weekend approaches, I’m hungry, I know you are too. It’s time, once again, for Food Feedback Friday…a chance for all you wonderful people to sound off and share your restaurant hopes, dreams, successes, and failures. Who is dishing up the hottest food this week and who needs to rethink their menu? There’s been a decent number of openings around Little Rock recently including the revamped 1620 Savoy, Packet House Grill, the “reinvented southern cuisine” restaurant, Natchez, another attempt at Mexican cuisine with La Casa Real off Rodney Parham Rd., and Next Bistro and Bar on Kavanaugh Blvd in Hillcrest at the former location of Diversion. Lots of chances to try something new. Let us know what you’ve been eating and what you think about it.

I’ve been hankering for some fantastic, gussied-up mac and cheese…the kind served in a deep dish, absolutely loaded with thick, melted cheese topped by a baked breadcrumb crust. I’ve also been aching for a fat, stuffed-full burrito…preferably of the carne asada variety with onions, peppers, fresh salsa and guacamole. Any suggestions will be graciously accepted. Likewise, if you’ve got anything you’re searching for, maybe there’s someone here who can point you in the right direction.
