What would we do without Joel DiPippa? Miss a feast at Leo’s on Kavanaugh, for one thing.

I had the opportunity to catch up with a friend from out of town recently.  When the time came to get a bit to eat, we headed to Leo’s Greek Castle.  It is a consistent favorite for being tasty, affordable, and well loved by the populace.  Consistently placing in the ArkTimes “Best of” competitions, old habits were hard to beat there.
We started with a serving of Hummus … fantastic and tasty and I can never get enough of it.

We both went after Gyros Platters next.  Yes, the meat is on the fatty side … no, I can not tell you exactly how good or bad for me the tzatziki sauce is.  But I love it.  These are my favorite gyros in the state and all others are judged against them.

My friend went for a piece of Baklava to round out the meal while I made the final efforts to finish the hummus.

In the end, we were full and happy and the table was littered with empty dishes.
