At around 10 a.m. this morning, Little Rock PD responded to a report of a shooting at 2816 Summit Street in Little Rock that was evidently the result of a Russian roulette game two men were playing with a .357 revolver.

Bryant Taylor, 19, first told officers that he and Ladevyon Harris, 20, were “standing outside smoking when an unknown number of individuals drove up in a black Avenger and began shooting at them. Taylor stated they both ran into the home and Harris realized he had been struck by a bullet in the right leg,” according to a police report by Officer Brooke Watson.

However, upon further questioning, “we found that Harris and Tayler were playing Russian roulette with a 357 revolver and while Taylor had the handgun it discharged and struck Harris in the right and left leg. Detectives responded to the scene as well as Sgt. Johnston. Crime Scene was called and Harris was transported to UAMS with non-life threatening injuries.”

Taylor was taken to the police station on 12th Street for further questioning.
