Benji is filling in for me today, but I checked e-mail and couldn’t help but note a new national poll on the Republican presidential race. NBC/WSJ puts it at Trump, 21; Carson, 20, Rubio, 11, and Fiorina, 11.

It’s not over until it’s over, but I am gratified that Mike Huckabee’s all-homophobia-all-the-time campaign (in addition to Kim Davis heroics he’s going after Frito-Lay over its rainbow Doritos) doesn’t seem to be doing much for the Florida tax fugitive.

The polling put Huckabee at a solid 10th, with support of 2 percent of those polled. He’d been as high as 9 percent in June. You think Fox will want him back?
