Interesting note from a spectator at a 9th-grade football game in Cabot:

Little Rock Central’s 9th grade team played at Cabot last night. The Cabot football stadium has a video display on the scoreboard. During timeouts and other significant stoppages, the screen is used to run advertisements. The stadium loudspeakers provide the audio for commercials that have it (and it is LOUD). Last night’s commercials included:

1. Red River Dodge
2. The Assembly of Cabot, a church, and
3. This Rick Crawford ad

It is disappointing to see public school facilities used to denigrate the sitting President of the United States. I am sure their justification is that his campaign paid for an ad just as the car dealership did. It doesn’t change the fact that hundreds of school children saw the POTUS smeared at an event on campus.

Religious and political proselytizing on a public school’s scoreboard for a captive audience? Hmmm.
