From the Pulaski County Election Commission, here’s the precinct breakdown on last night’s overwhelming vote in favor of pledging portions of a 3-mill property tax to street and drainage work.
Among 70 precincts, my quick scan turned up only two negative votes:

At Precincts 122, 2901 W. Roosevelt, and 129, 7501 Lindsey Road, votes went narrowly against the street bonds (31-34 and 10-13), but narrowly for the drainage bonds. Most other precincts were solidly for the tax, which passed overall with 76 percent of the vote. The pro-taxers at my Hillcrest poll, 109 and 112, varied between 85 and 89 percent approval.
In answer to reader question: 6,213 votes were cast, or 5.4 percent of the 115,371 voters registered to vote in the city.
